All About Renegade Street Eats
A few years ago, after some serious soul searching, I decided a change of career was necessary. My husband mentioned that I had really become a good cook. That got me to thinking about what to do now. A few things crossed my mind, but the best sounding idea was a food truck. I began working on my recipies, and when I was satisfied with them, I set out to find the right truck. We searched the internet and found a great truck, way down in Kentucky, near where Maker's Mark is made. After bringing the truck home, we set about the task of changing it from a motorcross motorcycle garage to a rolling kitchen.
It took nearly a full year, and a lot of blood, sweat, and elbow grease, not only from me, my hubby, and the kids, but other family and a few friends, too. I've spent this fall and winter, when it wasn't too cold, learning to use the equipment to make you the best, freshest food I can. I can't wait to get rolling and start putting smiles on faces, because, for me, that part is priceless.
